BETA VERSION NOTICE: RedGifs Downloader is currently in beta. At this time, the extension is only available through manual installation (developer mode). We're working on publishing to official extension stores in the future.

Manual Installation Instructions

Chrome Installation

  1. Download the ZIP file using the button above
  2. Extract the ZIP file to a folder on your computer
  3. Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions/
  4. Enable "Developer mode" in the top-right corner
  5. Click "Load unpacked" and select the extracted folder
  6. The extension will be installed and ready to use

Firefox Installation

  1. Download the ZIP file using the button above
  2. Extract the ZIP file to a folder on your computer
  3. Open Firefox and go to about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox
  4. Click "Load Temporary Add-on..."
  5. Navigate to the extracted folder and select the manifest.json file
  6. The extension will be installed and ready to use
  7. Note: In Firefox, temporary add-ons are removed when you close the browser

Edge Installation

  1. Download the ZIP file using the button above
  2. Extract the ZIP file to a folder on your computer
  3. Open Edge and go to edge://extensions/
  4. Enable "Developer mode" using the toggle in the left sidebar
  5. Click "Load unpacked" and select the extracted folder
  6. The extension will be installed and ready to use
